Murray PHN has established four Regional Clinical Advisory Councils.
The role of the Councils is to provide strategic leadership and clinical expertise to enable improvement in clinical models and service delivery, tailored to the specific needs of local communities.
Membership is made up of clinicians from a range of disciplines across the health care sector, including, but not limited to: Allied Health Practitioners, Director of Medical Services, Employees of Primary Care Partnerships, General Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists and Specialists.
Clinicians have experience and interest in a range of clinical areas, including but not limited to population health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, aged care, mental health, chronic disease, women’s and children’s health, drug and alcohol.
The Clinical Advisory Councils are governed by a Terms of Reference that sets out its purpose and structures.
