Clinical Advisory Councils

The catchment-wide clinical advisory council will provide strategic leadership and clinical expertise, to enable improvement in clinical models and health service delivery, tailored to the specific needs of local communities.

Membership will be made up of 13 clinicians, including the Chair, from a range of disciplines across the health care sector, including, but not limited to: allied health practitioners, director of medical services, employees of primary care partnerships, general practitioners, nurses, pharmacists and specialists.

Clinicians will have experience and interest in a range of clinical areas, including but not limited to population health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, aged care, mental health, chronic disease, women's and children's health, drug and alcohol.
