The Emergency Response Planning Tool (ERPT) is a cloud-based application which assists general practices to better prepare for, respond to and recover from the impacts of emergencies and pandemics.
The ERPT can support investment in your own business continuity and strengthen your ability to continue to provide health services to your communities during times of emergency events.
Module 16 of the ERPT guides a practice through building a pandemic plan, with a focus on preparedness and response to ensure continuity of care to patients during a pandemic. Additional modules include cyber security, loss of power and loss of premises.
This year, the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services has funded additional fully subsidised access to the ERPT for rural and regional Victorian general practices. To register your interest, complete the online form at https://bit.ly/31KuXgY. Limited places available.
Practices who received fully subsidised access last year will be contacted by Healthpoint to have their licenses extended for this year.
