As practices become increasingly reliant on digital communication, the risks associated with this type of communication are becoming more apparent. These risks can include cyber threats, data loss and patient privacy.
Practice managers and other health professionals are invited to this session to help understand the processes and responsibilities in this space to assist your practice to manage this essential communication safely and minimise risks.

Guest presenter: Ruth Crampton, PhD, MN clinical teaching, PGD Acute Clinical Nursing, BA education, RN. Manager, Member Education | Avant: Ruth has a nursing background and postgraduate qualifications in education. She has published research from her PhD and been the keynote speaker at several international health and nursing conferences. Her education experience has been varied in hospital, university and corporate environments. She has been in her current role at Avant for more than seven years. With a focus on promoting quality, safety and professionalism for the medical profession, her role involves coordinating medico-legal education including live events and online content and activities.
