The Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System recommended the establishment of up to 60 Local Adult and Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Services across Victoria. The new service stream, now known as Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals (Local Services), are an important part of Victoria’s reformed mental health and wellbeing system.

The Murray PHN region has three Local Services in the local government areas of Benalla-Wangaratta and Mansfield. This webinar will provide an introduction to Benalla-Wangaratta-Mansfield Mental Health and Wellbeing Local staff, model and referral pathways.

It will also provide an introduction to the Intake Assessment and Referral (IAR) Decision Support Tool and its use in the referral pathways, including access to IAR-DST training opportunities with CPD points and the availability of a one-off incentive payment.
