Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) for mental healthcare training | Online

May 10 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Initial Assessment and Referral – Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) is an initiative of the Department of Health and Aged Care. It supports clinicians in matching a person's treatment needs with the right intensity of mental health support, at the right time.

General practitioners, registrars, mental health clinicians and other health professionals within the Murry PHN catchment, are invited to attend this two-hour CPD-accredited group training workshop on how to use the IAR-DST.

Louise Scheidl is the Initial Assessment and Referral Training and Support Officer for Murray PHN and will facilitate this training. Louise has more than 35 years' experience working across a variety of mental health service levels as an occupational therapist.
