Mildura Priority Primary Care Centre – information session for providers | Mildura

February 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

The Victorian Government is funding 25 Priority Primary Care Centres (PPCCs) across the state. Primary Health Networks (PHNs) are commissioning these clinics in their respective regions.

The centres will ease pressure on nearby hospital emergency departments. They will provide GP-led care for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions such as mild infections, fractures, and burns. They will also offer pathology and imaging services. Care will be available to anyone with or without a Medicare card, at no cost to the patient.

The Department has defined Mildura as one of the locations for a Priority Primary Care Centre.

Join health colleagues in a quick information session to find out more.

Key discussion points:

  • Overview of a Priority Primary Care Centre
  • What is the model of care?
  • Clinical Governance model
  • Collaborative approach to the establishment of a PPCC in Mildura.
