Renewal | New national cervical screening guidelines

In December 2017, the National Cervical Screening Program will change from two-yearly pap tests to five-yearly human papillomavirus (HPV) tests. The aim of the renewal is to ensure that all Australian women, HPV vaccinated and unvaccinated, have access to a cervical screening program that is acceptable, effective, efficient and based on current evidence.
