The Role of Rural GP Practices in Facilitating Early Pregnancy Termination | Bendigo

This training is open to GPs, specialists, practice nurses, practice managers and health practitioners interested in supporting rural women who experience unplanned pregnancy and abortion.

Hear about current policy and practice environment for medical termination of pregnancy
(MTOP) and long acting reversible contraception (LARC) in Victoria. Local clinicians will be invited to discuss the local service system, including surgical termination of pregnancy (STOP), the benefits and limitations, and guide the discussion about future opportunities and training and support needs.
