This two day course teaches first aid skills for assisting community members with  mental illnesses and mental health crisis situations, such as depression, anxiety disorders, psychosis, substance use disorders, suicidal thinking and behaviour, panic attacks and people who are psychotic  and appear threatening. The course provides information on social and emotional wellbeing, loss and grief and mental health issues in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
