Statewide paediatric pathways

The Victorian Primary Health Network Alliance (VPHNA) is working with Safer Care Victoria’s Paediatric Clinical Network to translate evidence-based clinical practice guidelines (developed by the Royal Children’s Hospital) into statewide paediatric HealthPathways.

The primary aim of this project is to reduce unwarranted variation in paediatric care across Victoria by providing GPs with access to reliable assessment, management and referral information. Twenty seven pathways have been developed over the course of the project.
