The Loddon Mallee Integrated Cancer Service (LMICS) 2016 grants program will allocate $250,000 to organisations providing specialist and generalist cancer services to residents of the Loddon Mallee Region. Applications close Monday 18 July.

Storytelling workshops

Loddon Mallee Murray Partners in Recovery in partnership with  Health Issues Centre  are hosting workshops  for consumers to develop their skills to present their personal stories. Workshops will be held  in Bendigo, Deniliquin and Kerang from Wednesday 22 June.

Nominations for BDAC's 2016 NAIDOC Aboriginal Community Awards are open.  The adult awards will be presented at the NAIDOC Dinner on Friday 15 July and the youth awards at BDAC's Children's Day event on Wednesday 6 July. Nominations close Friday 1 July.

Primary Care Connect is facilitating the Conversations for Change  project. The aim is to engage 1000 people across the Shepparton area in conversations regarding their understanding/experience/ideas around community and family violence.

Offers home-based community nursing services (RN & EEN staff) across the region, in addition to in-home care and support services provided by PCA and domestic staff.  Referrals are accepted from general practice Doctors and Nurses, allied health professionals, hospitals and self-referral by clients.

Murray PHN is offering funding for 15 general practice staff in the North West region to attend Bridges Out Of Poverty two day workshop.  The workshop explores the impact and causes of poverty and presents  strategies and pathways to provide constructive and sustainable assistance to  those clients experiencing economic disadvantage.
