Community Advisory Council | Consultation forums
Murray PHN is introducing Community Advisory Councils across our region. These Councils will assist our decision making by ensuring local input and identification of local community needs as part of our evidence based decision making and planning to improve health outcomes across our network.Murray PHN is hosting 12 consultation forums starting on Tuesday 12 April. The forums will inform the establishment of the Community Advisory Councils over the coming months. Community members and organisations interested in improving health outcomes in their region are invited to attend.Click here to register or provide online feedback if you are unable to attend a forum.

New Doctor | Marong Medical Practice

Dr Saira Baloch has joined Marong Medical Practice. Saira is a a trained Hepatitis C treatment provider and  certified implanon provider. Her  professional interests include women's,  children and adolescent health, skin cancer surgery, neonatal circumcisions (for boys only 4 weeks and under) and Aboriginal health.

Local  networking meeting

On Tuesday 22 March Murray PHN Goulburn Valley and adjoining East Melbourne PHN staff joined Lower Hume Primary Care Partnership Integrated Health Promotion Collaborative members at a meeting in Yea to learn more about opportunities to work together to improve the health of local communities. The meeting showcased an example of the ‘fruits of their labour’, concluding with a tour of the local community garden.
