Murray PHN Introductory Discussion  | Albury

Last week, prior to the monthly board meeting in Wangaratta, the Murray PHN board  members and staff hosted a  introductory  discussion about the Murray PHN in Albury.  

Approximately 50 people attended, representing 23 agencies. Murray PHN CEO Matt Jones presented, then facilitated  a question and answer session encouraging  informal  conversations about the local health priorities and issues.

The Murray PHN is building an approach based on local input.   We encourage you to share your local voice about health priorities and system issues below.

Murray PHN introductory sessions will take place in the Central Victoria, Goulburn Valley and North West Victoria regions in the coming months.


PHCAG | Discussion paper and online survey

The Primary Health Care Advisory Group (PHCAG) have released a discussion paper, which  is designed to set out the case for change and introduce some possible options to improve primary health care for people with chronic and complex conditions.

AOD online courses

Gain access to three online courses covering Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD). Endorsed by the DHHS and a joint venture of Orticare and two pharmacotherapy networks, the courses aim to offer easy access for practice reception, non-medical and nursing staff.

Mental health art exhibition

Bendigo Mental Health Week Group and the City of Greater Bendigo are partnering to present an art exhibition as part of Mental Health Week, 2015.  The exhibition will run from Thursday 1 October until Monday 5 October.

IHP guidelines

The Integrated Health Promotion (IHP) Reporting Guidelines 2013 - 2017 (revised June 2015) have been released.  The IHP funded organisations are encouraged to review the document evaluation framework for health promotion and disease prevention.
