Murray PHN  Introductory  Session |  Mildura
On Tuesday 15 September,  prior to the monthly board meeting in Mildura,  the Murray PHN board  members and staff hosted a  introductory  discussion about the Murray PHN in North West Victoria.  

Approximately 70 people attended, representing 33 agencies. Murray PHN CEO Matt Jones presented, then facilitated  a question and answer session encouraging  informal  conversations about the local health priorities and issues.

Murray PHN is  building an approach based on local input. You can view the summary and are  encouraged to share input  about local  health priorities and system issues here.

Murray PHN introductory sessions will take place in the Goulburn Valley on 20 October and in the near future in Central Victoria.

Partners in Recovery | Stigma Action Grants

Stigma Action Funding Grants are being made available to deliver activities to reduce stigma of severe and persistent mental illness across the Loddon Mallee Murray and Hume PIR regions.

Important vaccine update  | DTPa vaccine delay

The Immunisation Section have confirmed that the program to re-introduce the 18 month booster dose of Diphtheria-Tetanus-acellular Pertussis (DTPa) vaccine will not commence until early in 2016.  The Department of Health and Human Services urge immunisation providers to check their website for further updates.
