Regional Managers appointed

As Murray PHN passes the 12 week mark of operation the four Regional Managers, that will be based throughout the region, have been announced.Janice Radrekusa has been appointed as the Regional Manager of the Central Victoria region,  Faye Hoise  in Goulburn Valley,  Dale Thompson  in North West Victoria and

Richard McClelland will commence as  Regional Manager in the North East in December. Cate Stephens will be Interim Regional Manger for  North  East until that time.Click here to read more

GP  Training Advisory Committee

Minister for Health Sussan Ley has announced appointments to the new GP Training Advisory Committee to oversee governance of the Australian General Practice Training programme.

Td vaccine update

In March 2015 immunisation providers were notified of a substitute for the ADT Booster vaccine which was in short supply. A recent update was released by bioCSL.

Latest MBS updates and changes

The latest MBS updates and changes are now available for viewing.  Notable changes include Item 715 Health Assessment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People: Item 715 has been amended to include reference to Aboriginal Health Worker being able to assist GP's in performing this type of health assessment.
