Information for GPs in Central Victoria

Primary mental health services in our region have transitioned to new services under the National Mental Health Commission's recommendation for national reform, ensuring that mental health funding and services are focused in primary care. With this national reform, low income and disadvantaged populations are the focus of a stepped, needs-based primary mental health care approach.

Murray PHN has appointed a range of mental health service providers to implement this reform from that began in March 2018. These join existing providers of other specialist services across our region.

Please note: capacity to accept referrals may vary between providers. GPs and other referrers are encouraged to contact these service providers directly regarding referral documentation and service availability, on the contact numbers below.
