Primary mental health services in our region have transitioned to new services under the National Mental Health Commission's recommendation for national reform, ensuring that mental health funding and services are focused in primary care. With this national reform, low income and disadvantaged populations are the focus of stepped, needs-based primary mental health care.
Murray PHN appointed a range of service providers to implement this reform from the beginning of March 2019. These service providers joined existing providers of other specialist services across our region.
Please note: capacity to accept referrals may vary between providers. GPs and other referrers are encouraged to contact these service providers directly, on the contact numbers below.
